Francia Raisa

Raisa began taking acting jobs in her junior year of high school. She started modelling for ads in the print media as well as performing in commercials. She was a guest star in American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. In 2004 Raisa played Tamy Lil"Romo's "My Girlfriend", and also In Iyaz's "So big" music video. Her first lead part a month before starting her senior year. in Bring It On, All or Nothing, Raisa starred with Hayden Pannettiere. Co-starring in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules, where she portrayed Isabel the character of Isabel, as well as The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. From July 2008 until when the series ended ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager which ended in June of 2013, she portrayed the role of Adrian Lee. As of 2009, Raisa appeared on American Network's series In Plain Sight and co-starred in a short-film directed by David Henrie, titled Boo which was broadcast on YouTube. Raisa appeared alongside Mike "The Miz' Mizanin in 2013's Christmas Bounty. Raisa was in the movie on August 12, 2012. In the years 2018 to 2022, Raisa appeared on the Freeform series Grown-ish. Executive produced by the creator of Blackish Kenya Barris. She appeared in the first four seasons of the show, but left after the death of her character in the final season. The actress also appeared in the Freeform's television movie of 2018, Life-Size 2, opposite Tyra Banks. The film premiered in May 2021. Raisa was cast in How I Met Your Mum's spinoff series How I Met Your Father It premiered on Hulu on 18 January 2022. The series received a second twenty-episode season on February 20, 2022.
