Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actress who became famous in the 90s as Hugh Grant's lover and a former English model. In 1994 as Grant gained global media attention because of the box office boom of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley accompanied him to the premiere of the film in Los Angeles premiere in a stunning black Versace dress held together with the gold safety pins, which earned her instant media notice. Her association in the company of Estee Lauder has been the highlight of Hurley's career. Hurley received her first modeling contract at the age 29, and she's used her model for Estee Lauder's products from 1995. The most famous of her roles is her role as Vanessa Kensington, in the popular spy-films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley is now a model and the designer of an eponymous Beachwear Line. Perry's early attempts to become famous in the mainstream failed. Perry has been signed by 2 recording companies, but was dropped prior to releasing any material. Capitol Records, however, launched Perry's Ur So Gay album in 2007 and it was greeted with only modest approval with the track that was its title. She made a greater splash a few months later, with the track I kissed a Girl an assertive ode to sexual desire backed by a hard-edged electro-pop beat. The track quickly caused controversy, as critics criticized it for promoting same-sex relations as well as others argued that the sexually explicit scene the song depicted sparked male fantasies of sexuality among females. The combination of sensuality, polished music and a catchy tune helped to make it a top ten song across multiple countries. It led to The album, One of the Boys (2007) selling well. Hot N Cold is a popular second track. Perry also wrote a number of the lyrics for the album.
